

| The Food A major element to all good ski and snowboard holidays is excellent food and here at Custard Mountain we want you to enjoy your best dinning experience with us. We use good quality local ingredients where ever possible, blended by our in-house chef and conjured into delicious hand made dishes for your enjoyment. All of our previous guests have been pleasantly surprised and very appraising about the food & wine in the chalet as we are always looking to achieve the best from the kitchen. 98% of previous guests described our food as ‘Excellent’. Good sizeable portions ensure you’re full of energy to tackle the week ahead and we are careful to vary our menu to cater for all, including those with special dietary requirements. “I must say I am very excited about getting into my new kitchen. Breakfast Every morning of your stay we provide a substantial mix of self-service Continental breakfast items and the option of the ‘chef’s choice’ 5 mornings in the week. Continental Breakfast -breads, homemade jams & honey, juices, fruit, yoghurts, cereals. Chefs choice – These change daily and are a mix of English style dishes over the week e.g Pancakes with choice of topping, Bacon, mushrooms & eggs etc Breakfast is flexible between the hours of 7.30am and 9.30am, served at a time to suit the guests. Afternoon Tea Lisa’s legendary homemade cakes and biscuits will be ready for your return from the mountain everyday. A selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate are also available. Enjoy some relaxation time before dinner and let everyone know about the thrills and spills of your day. Evening Meal The best way to start the evening is a dose of fantastic food and a dash of local wine. Your chef will have been busy in the kitchen preparing a well deserved 3 course feast for your palate and we are sure that you will not be disappointed. The tempting variation of dishes and good sociable atmosphere is a pleasure and a treat to share with other guests. Food is served with wine for 6 nights, giving your hosts 1 night off and you the chance to visit one of the many superb local restaurants. For any children in the chalet, we offer an early dinner and a simple kids menu of dishes such as meatball pasta, Crispy chicken, DIY pizzas etc. We are flexible with both the times and the menu to suit each families needs.
